Mallang means something along the lines of "the highest level of loving" its having more marifaat, more than just being someone who does what is obligatory in his religion when someone is a Mallang they give their all to the Ahlul Baiyt (asws), so a drug doer or someone who doesnt follow sharia cannot then be a Mallang.

I have heard that the shift of malang started from Hazrat Jamaludine Janeman Jannati(rehmatullah alaih) who was the mureed and khalifa of Hazrat Badidudine ZInda Shah Madar(radi ALlah anhu), He was the son of Hazrat Gaus-E-Pak (radiAllah anhu) sister and was born by the blessings of Hazrat Badidudine ZInda Shah Madar(radi ALlah anhu), He use to do the zikr caled Habsh-E-Dum, in which he  use take one breath after 6 mnths and use to do zikr in such state, due to the excess of this zikr blood use to come from his head, when his pir sahab Hazrat Badidudine ZInda Shah Madar(radi ALlah anhu) came to no about this state he went to see him and rubbed some mud on his head, from that day Hazrat Janeman Jannati(rehmatullah alaih) did not cut his hair as the hand of his blessed pir has touched his head and due to which his hair grow so long, which later he use to fold around as a turban.

One has to follow the silsila-e-madariya to become a malang.

Hazrat Haji Malang Baba(rehmatullah alaih) is one of the famous Malang in india.

Bismillahir Rahman Nir Raheem.
Allahumma Salle Ala Syedina Mohammadin Wa 'ala 'Alihi Syedina Mohammedin wa Barik wa Sallim.
"Ala Inna Awliya Allahi la Khauf-un Alaihim wa Lahum Yah-Zanoon"

Dargah-e-Hazrat Syedina Syed Qutb Shah Ghori (Rahmathullahi Allaih)

City / Town / Taluk: Kolar
District: Kolar District ( Frequent buses from Bangalore)
State: Karnataka.

The Dargahs of Kolar shareef possess their historical importance and are predominantly well-known for two great Qutbs who attract a large number of Ashiq-e-Awliyah namely Dargah-e-Hazrat Syedina Syed Qutb Shah Ghori (Rahmathullahi Allaih), which is located in front of Kolar Clock Tower and Dargah-e-Hazrat Khwaja Usman Shah Vali (Rahmathullah Allaih) which is on the top of Kolar Hills, so called "Kolar ke Pahad ki Dargah".
About Hazrat Syedina Syed Qutb Shah Ghori (RA):-
Dam Madaar - Beda Paar. Haq Allah Haq Allah Haq Mohammed (Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam) Haq Madaar. Sarkar Qutb-e-Alam Shahinsha-e-Auliya, Qutb-ul-Aqtaab, Qubt-e-Auliya, Hazarath Syedina Syed Qutb Shah Ghori (Rahmathullahi Allaih).
The Dargah Shareef of Hazrath Syedina Syed Qutb Shah Ghori (RA) is situated in the main city of Kolar. Opposite to Kolar Clock Tower, you can find an entrance of Dargah Mohalla which is similar to Ajmeer Shareef's Dome in the name of Hazrath Syedina Syed Qutb Shah Ghori (RA).
It is said that more than 1000 years ago, the beloved Mureeds of Hazrat Syed Qutb Shah Ghori (RA) carried his Janaza Mubarak on their shoulders as per his last instructions to bury the sacred body in a place where the Janaza Mubarak wouldn't move. The Mureeds roamed carrying Janaza Mubarak of Hazrat Syed Qutb Shah Ghori (RA) to different places for achieving the purpose and eventually reached Kolar, where they wanted to have a rest due to tiredness.
On the other hand, the soldiers of the Rani of Kolar didn't allow the Mureeds to stay even for a second and compelled them to vacate the place along with the Janaza Mubarak. Upon their request, Mureeds tried to lift up the Janaza Mubarak, astonishingly, it didn't move even bit and they became aware that Kolar was the place where the sacred body was to be buried. SubhanALLAH. The soldiers reported this incident to the Rani who was the ruler of Kolar then that the Janaza Mubarak was not moving from the place despite the fact that so many people put their efforts to lift it up from the site.
The Rani was annoyed hearing it and commanded her soldiers to bring elephants knitting them with chains and pull the Janaza Mubarak from the place it was laid at. The soldiers followed her instructions and tried to pull the Janaza Mubarak with the efforts of elephants and chains but the Karamath of Hazrat Syedina Qutb Shah Ghori (RA) was so powerful and stronger that devastated their hopeless efforts.
Finally, the Rani was won over by the Mureeds of Hazrat Syedina Qutb Shah Ghori (RA) and she permitted them to continue the burial ceremony in the place where the Dargah shareef is now situated. After the incident, people witnessed many Karamaths of Hazrath Syedina Syed Qutb Shah Ghori (RA) and became aware of his highest Darajah (status) in Wilayath and started flocking at his holy feet to gain his countless blessings.
In the same Dargah shareef, adjacent to the Mazar-e-Mubarak of Hazrath Syedina Syed Qutb Shah Ghori (RA), there are three other Mazar-e-shareefs found which are of Hazrat Syed Shah Muheed Ali Pari Yar (Rahmathullah Allaih), Hazrat Syed Shah Mohammed Madar (Rahmathullah Allaih) and Hazrat Syed Shah Mohammed Fateh hathai e Madar Mast (Rahmathullah Allaih).

In the same Dargah shareef, adjacent to the Mazar-e-Mubarak of Hazrath Syedina Syed Qutb Shah Ghori (RA),
there are three other Mazar-e-shareefs found which are of
Hazrat Syed Shah Muheed Ali Pari Yar (Rahmathullah Allaih),
Hazrat Syed Shah Mohammed Madar (Rahmathullah Allaih) and
Hazrat Syed Shah Mohammed Fateh hathai e Madar Mast (Rahmathullah Allaih).

Also there is one more dargah namely Hazrat Sangh Shah (RA) is also a madaria awliya in kolar.

All these auliyas belong to Madaria Silsila and there Narah is written on the Dargah Stone and Mazar stones as " Dam Madaar Pedah Paar"

The Dargah of Hazrat Qutb Shah Ghori baba (RA) is 1000 years old but Madaria Silsila is very old silsila, so all the above awliyas come under madaria silsila.

Also some awliyas will have faizs from different silsilas.

Some Qalandars have given fiaz to awliyas of other sisilas.

Similarly Madaria Awliyas or any major silsila Awliyas give faiz to other awliyas of different silsilas.

Hazrat Iqrar ali shah chishty (RA) use to wear iron bangles, he is one of the peer o murshid of Hazrat khwaja lalu bhai qasir (RA).
Hazrat Iqrar ali shah baba (RA) spent most of his life in caves for the purpose of Chillas. In his old age hazrat khwaja lalu bhai qasir (RA) was a child and he did khidmat of Hazrat Iqrar ali shah chisty (RA) till this great malang took wisal.

Dada hayath Qalandar baba gave faizan to many awliyas of different silsilas.

Now brother you can understand what is the link between different awliyas of different silsilas.

Your comments welcomed.
